Kate Barnes has been performing on piano, flute and guitar for English Country Dancing for an embarassingly long time. A member of the ground-breaking band Bare Necessities and the improvisatory contra band The Latter Day Lizards, she is also the author of three universally used books of music for English Country Dancing and appears on over 70 recordings.
